At DFW Skin Surgery Center, we specialize in all aspects of dermatologic surgery, including Mohs surgery for skin cancer, laser procedures, and cosmetic dermatology. Below is an overview of our services offered at both our Arlington and Southlake offices.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
Mohs surgery is the most advanced and effective treatment modality for various skin cancers available today. This procedure is performed in the office under local anesthesia and offers the highest cure rate for skin cancer.
Dr. Berlin has extensive training and experience in Mohs surgery. He combines precise surgical removal of the cancer with microscopic identification and eradication of any residual roots, followed by reconstruction of the affected area.

Cosmetic Dermatology
In this age of constant exposure to advertisements, online information, and new treatment claims, it can be difficult to determine what is truly effective. Our goal is to help you make sense of the available options and separate reliable treatments from hype.
Dr. Berlin is an expert in cosmetic dermatologic procedures and has authored numerous scientific articles, book chapters, and books on the subject. He is experienced in both established and advanced treatment options and carefully explains each approach based on your individual concerns.
All procedures are performed personally by Dr. Berlin to ensure consistency and optimal results.

General Dermatology
Dr. Berlin strongly believes in the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. For this reason, he recommends that all patients undergo a full skin examination, with follow-up frequency tailored to individual risk factors.
We evaluate and monitor moles, melanoma, and other skin conditions, and provide guidance on identifying concerning changes.
